This may seem like a rather daunting task, however I am up for the challenge. I mean, let's be serious; breaking the Olympic world record for the 100m dash might honestly be an easier accomplishment, but we'll see what I can do.
I've been searching for a creative outlet of late as certain issues in my life have seemed to warrant a mind-dump or two. I've re-discovered my thousands of bricks of Lego, searched for a higher plane of existence with a little help from my friends and even gazed at the stars for a few hours hoping for the completely non-existent chance that someone or something up there may just pluck me away and show me a life of unending adventure.
(No such luck by the way; the most adventurous thing that happened to me was my hands' foray through my hair after a bug unwittingly landed somewhere in that blond mess)
So now, I've decided that my best option seems to be to write. It has been somewhat of a passion for me for several years now, even though there's only a very select few who have read any of my serious work. I normally prefer to keep it to myself, mainly due to the fact that I am extremely self-concious about it and figure that most people will think me a hack or briefly scan the lines that took me hours to write, tell me they read it, and proceed to make some offhand comment about it. Grim and jaded?
Indeed.
However recently I've realized that there a few wonderful people out there who will care enough to read, critique and let me know how they actually feel about my craft and my products.
The literature that appears on here is for you guys. It happens to be a piece of my soul cleverly masked by words- be honest and it will make me a stronger person and a stronger writer.
